Law Clerk – Commercial and Estate Litigation
Penmans Lawyers is a well-respected, long established, Central Coast firm that primarily focuses on the areas of property and commercial transactions, commercial and civil litigation and wills and estates.
We have an exciting opportunity for a person with a consistently high academic record, who is currently in their final year of a degree or diploma in law, to join us as a law clerk as a pathway to a graduate lawyer position to commence on admission.
The position will expose the law clerk to all aspects of litigation practice (including research, drafting of court documents, using Court portals and other tasks) under the supervision of our senior litigation lawyers. The successful candidate will gain the benefit of experience in a range of litigious matters including estate litigation, family provision claims, commercial litigation, property disputes and debt recovery.
There may also be some crossover with our wills and estates team.
Every day will be different and a willingness to learn the ropes from the ground up is essential. It is well accepted in the legal profession that pre-admission experience is invaluable with both of our current directors having joined Penmans prior to their admission.

The role is part time and will be tailored to fit in with lectures, study commitments and exams and we understand that your schedule may vary.
