The Pen-Path

BECAUSE GREAT LAWYERS DON'T GROW ON THEIR OWN

Growing the next generation of lawyers

At Penmans, we believe becoming an excellent lawyer takes more than a law degree. It takes time, opportunity, experience, excellent teaching and people who are prepared to invest in the development of our future lawyers.

The Pen-Path is our structured five-year pathway from law student to early-career lawyer. It begins while participants are still at university and continues through admission and into their first two years of legal practice.

Along the way, Pen-Path participants will learn from people across our firm, experience different areas of law, develop practical skills and professional judgment, and discover the kind of lawyer they want to become.

We invite prospective participants to download and read the full Pen-Path document to learn more about the program and what it involves. If it sounds like the right opportunity, we’d love to hear from you. Simply complete the expression of interest form below.
