Shireen is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Newcastle. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Science (with Distinction), majoring in Global Indigenous Studies. Her academic excellence has been recognised through placement on the College Commendation List in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Shireen has developed a strong interest in property and commercial law. In her short time with Penmans, she has demonstrated an impressive ability to quickly learn the ropes of both property transactions and commercial matters. She has adapted seamlessly to the pace and complexity of practice, building her understanding of processes, documentation, and client needs with confidence. Her proactive approach, attention to detail, and willingness to take initiative have enabled her to contribute meaningfully to matters while continuing to develop her technical skills.

Shireen is actively involved in university leadership, having served in senior roles within the Law Students Association and as a student representative on the Academic Senate. Her strong academic background, practical experience, and growing expertise in property and commercial law make her a valued member of the Penmans team. We look forward to supporting Shireen as she continues her professional development and to her admission to practice in early 2027.
